Full members of the SSRO can be doctors who hold a Swiss Federal doctor’s diploma or equivalent doctor’s diploma and the specialist title in radiation oncology or radiotherapy, or who have proof of equivalence and perform or have performed a function in the healthcare sector in Switzerland and have an excellent reputation.
Associate members can be medical professionals who aim to acquire a Swiss Federal doctor’s diploma or equivalent doctor’s diploma and the specialist title of radiation oncology or radiotherapy, perform a function in Switzerland in the healthcare sector and have a good reputation.

Admission of new members takes place once every year by decision of the members’ general meeting of the SSRO.
Full members pay a membership of CHF 270 per year. Associate members pay no membership fee. The level of the membership fee may be redefined annually by the members’ general meeting.
